This is one of my favorite series of stories post-The Gift.  Mary does a brilliant job of creating an alternate Season 6.  I love Spike's involvement in this story, particularly the bond between Spike and Dawn, and later Spike & Buffy.  The first story in the series is sans Buffy, but she returns in the second story, lacking a few things.
